Life is the crucible, and our lead is the density: the prima materia we need in order to refine and reveal the gold within. There is a gift within every shadow, and a light within every darkness.
A crucible is your present life, exactly as it is — solid ground, already under your feet. The heavy thing you carry, the anger or grief or confusion or the story that everything is against you, is the raw material we work with. This stays a conversation, and the questionnaire in the wizard hat stays on its hook. One meaningful question at a time. Listening before interpreting.
Over a conversation we move through the four phases of the work — nigredo, albedo, citrinitas, rubedo — at whatever pace is real for you. It moves the way a conversation moves. And when what is wanted is to be heard, that space is held too, and I will listen.

Why · Albedo · the reason this exists
This is ancient wisdom, put to work on an ordinary modern life. Alchemy always pointed past the lump of lead in the dusty old laboratory. That was the outer shell of a much deeper inner teaching: the refinement of consciousness itself.
To transmute is to turn density into light. We do it by turning to meet the dense parts, both feet on the ground and the brightness earned. The shadow is the work itself.
So bring the whole of it to the door. Offer the heaviest, densest material you are carrying to the crucible. This is integration — everything kept.
Because the gold has been here the whole time. It is the gift folded inside the shadow, waiting to be seen. Meet the lead honestly, and it gives up its gold.
